By todays standards, these songs proudly contain simple lyrics and are delivered in an out of date folk genre which is dependent mostly on traditional instruments.

And while opposites may attract, our post modern culture defines love as a fleeting thing that is found and lost and then found; only to be lost again. The message of these songs are fundamental to a love that struggles, but by its very definition it is something that survives.
